Walt Disney, a renowned Hollywood movie producinfg company has eyed on Indianmarket. The company has started producing a south Indian movie. The effort is to make a dent in very big Indian movie market of Rs. 17 B.
It is a jump step for Walt Disney India. Walt Disney is operating in India since 2004 and ,ade its first full length animated Indian movie "Roadside Romeo" with Indian actors and animators.
Now it will make a Telugu film with famous film star Siddhartha Narayan and ShrutiHassan. Renowned film director Prakash Rao Kovelamudi will be the writer-director of this Telugu film. K Raghavendra Rao, who has director and producer of 125 films will be the producer. The film will also be dubbed in Tamil and expected to be released by January 2011.
According to a report (2009) from Earns and Young, South Indian cinema accounts for about three fourth of total movies produced in India. These movies are made in four major South Indian languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
